Efficient management of customer orders in companies with multiple warehouses or retail locations requires strong coordination between inventory availability, logistics and fulfillment processes. When orders are fulfilled from different warehouses, various challenges often arise related to delivery organization, coordination between locations and timely customer service. Manual coordination of these processes can lead to delays, additional administrative workload and an increased risk of errors.
In response to these challenges, ITC Consult has developed an application for automated centralization of customer orders across warehouses, fully integrated into the ERP solutions implemented by the company.
The application automates the process of centralized order fulfillment in companies with distributed warehouse structures. When a customer order is received, the system automatically checks inventory availability across all warehouses and generates the necessary internal transfers to the main warehouse of the respective retail or sales location. As a result, all items are gathered in one place before they are issued and delivered to the customer.
This approach eliminates the need for distributed order fulfillment from multiple warehouses, which often complicates logistics and the overall customer service process. Through automation, the need for manual creation of internal transfers and coordination between locations is removed, enabling more efficient management of inventory and product movement.
Key Highlights:
- Centralized fulfillment of customer orders in a single location;
- Automatic creation of internal transfers between warehouses;
- Reduced manual intervention and lower risk of errors in order processing;
- Optimized logistics and improved control over inventory movement;
- Enhanced customer service through timely and complete delivery of all requested products.
